Community Guidelines


We are so happy that you have discovered Game-Route and would like to engage with our content! We very much look forward to gaining new perspectives from you, the reader, to our takes on various video game related topics. Receiving insights and feedback from the community will truly be half the fun!

As with any road, however, there are rules to follow. Please keep these in mind as you travel down the highways and byways of Game-Route.

  • At this time, comments are moderated and will post upon review
    • Moderator pre-approval may or may not be turned off in the future. However, at this time we feel it is the best way to ensure that everyone stays between the navigational beacons on the road
    • Please be aware that this is a small passion project. We will do our best to quickly review and approve comments as soon as possible
    • Should pre-approval be turned off in the future, Game-Route will delete any and all comments subject to the rules stated below
  • Keep comments on topic
    • Game-Route is a site centered around Video Games and Video Gaming, with a special focus on the physical, analog and material aspects of video games
    • This focus may elicit valid comments on such diverse areas as health and well-being, history, the environment, or public figures and persona. Such comments should nonetheless have a valid connection to the topic at hand
  • Keep comments civil
    • Comments should be polite and civil
    • Abusive behavior will not be tolerated
    • Disrespectful comments regarding race, religion, gender, ethnicity or age will not be tolerated
  • No doxing of any kind
  • No spamming
    • Game-Route welcomes and encourages links to your own content, subject to the rules stated in these guidelines. However obvious spam comments will be removed, subject to Game-Route’s sole discretion
  • If you see comments following a Game-Route Blog Post that break any of these rules, please contact Game-Route so we may review and remove
